NOTICE OF PUBLIC BUDGET HEARING on the 2026 PROPOSED BUDGET
to be held WEDNESDAY – NOVEMBER 12, 2025 – 6:00 pm – LAFAYETTE TOWN HALL – N5573 BOWERS ROAD
Immediately following the public hearing, a Special Town Elector Meeting will be held to approve the 2026 total town tax levy in the amount of $1,011,985 (.943% net new construction) to be collected in 2026. A summary of the proposed budget is shown below. It is available in more detail, at the Town Clerk’s Office, by appointment. Call 723.4321 or email [email protected] for additional information.

This public hearing and meeting notice posted at least 15 days but no more than 20 days prior to the meeting in accordance with Wis. Statutes in at least three public places in the Town and on the Town’s website: Former Town Hall (W4614 Potter Rd), Town Garage/Town Hall (N5573 Bowers Rd), Lockhart’s Fuel Station (N6424 US 12) and lafayettewcwi.gov
